⮞ Emergency Notifications from Weston's CodeRED by Crisis24 System 

This system allows us to send critical communications, to all or targeted areas within the City in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action.  This system is capable of dialing the entire City within minutes.  It delivers a recorded message from the City Manager's office describing the situation and any instructions for immediate or future action.  The message will play when answered by a live person or an answering machine and makes three attempts to connect to each number.  You can opt-in for text message and/or email alerts.

Examples of times when the CodeRED by Crisis24 system can be utilized: 

Drinking water contamination, extended utility outages, evacuation notice and route, missing person, fires, floods, bomb threat, hostage situation, chemical spill or gas leak, and other incidents where rapid and accurate notification is essential for life safety.

THIS SYSTEM WILL BE USED FOR EMERGENCY AND LIFE SAFETY PURPOSES.  There is an option to also receive GENERAL messages from the City of Weston and weather alerts from the National Weather Service. We may send City information to those who have opted to receive the General messages.

To make changes to your CodeRED by CRISIS24 profile, such as to add or change a phone number or opt-in for weather alerts or change a language, please revisit the CodeRED by CRISIS24 registration page and enter your information.

The number that will be displayed on your caller ID as 855-969-4636 or 866-419-5000.  To hear a recent message, you can call this number.  Note that only messages that were sent within the last 30 days are available on the system. Place these in your phone's contacts as CodeRED by Crisis24.

CodeRED by Crisis24 is used for emergency communications.  Your contact information is private, exempt from public records laws, and cannot be shared, requested or sold.

Este sistema nos permite enviar comunicaciones críticas a todas las áreas, o a áreas selectas, de la Ciudad en el caso de una emergencia que requiera de atención inmediata.  El sistema es capaz de comunicarse con la Ciudad entera en cuestión de minutos.  Entrega mensajes grabados desde la oficina del Gerente Municipal (City Manager), describiendo la situación así como instrucciones inmediatas o futuras.  El mensaje se activa en el momento que una persona o una contestadora automática contesta el teléfono y hace tres intentos para conectarse con cada número.  Si se elige la opción de alerta por mensaje de texto o por correo electrónico, dichas alertas también serán enviadas.  

Ejemplos de situaciones en los que se utiliza el sistema ONSolve CodeRED:   

Contaminación de agua potable, apagón extendido, notificaciones y rutas de evacuación, personas extraviadas, inundaciones, amenaza de bomba, situación de rehenes, fugas de gas o químicos y otros incidentes en donde una notificación rápida y veraz pueda salvar vidas.
