• You choose what you get. Pick the types of alerts you want - from community news to emergency warnings.
• Only trusted officials send alerts. Messages come directly from authorized local public safety teams.
• The mobile app is free. Download the Everbridge app for Everbridge and Nixle Alerts, from the App Store or Google Play.
• Turn on GPS for real-time alerts. The app can send alerts based on your exact location - wherever you go.

During an emergency, we want to get facts to you quickly.  ALERTWeston is one communication tool, which helps the City relay important news and weather information to you.

In many instances, we utilize social media to help get the word out.  X and Facebook are used to quickly report on road closings, traffic issues and emergency information. We also use Neighbors by Ring.

ALERTWeston is used for emergency communications. Your contact information is private, exempt from public records laws, and cannot be shared, requested or sold.

Contaminación del agua potable, cortes prolongados de servicios, avisos y rutas de evacuación, personas desaparecidas, incendios, inundaciones, amenazas de bomba, situación de rehenes, vertidos químicos o fugas de gas, y otros incidentes donde la notificación rápida y precisa es esencial para la seguridad de la vida.

• Solo los funcionarios de confianza envían alertas. Los mensajes provienen directamente de equipos locales autorizados de seguridad pública.

• La aplicación móvil es gratuita. Descarga la app ALERTWeston desde la App Store o Google Play.

• Activa el GPS para recibir alertas en tiempo real. La app puede enviar alertas basadas en tu ubicación exacta, dondequiera que vayas.
