The Broward County Board of County Commissioners requires lobbyists to register pursuant to the Broward County Lobbyist Registration Act. This Act governs the activities for which a person must register as a lobbyist with Broward County or the municipality and the penalties for violating the registration and reporting requirements.

Lobbyists must submit the completed form, authorization form, and registration fee to the City of Weston, City Clerk's Office before lobbying.

• Copy of the applicable minutes, motion, or other document of the action providing such authorization shall be attached to the registration statements.
  
  
• If you are lobbying without any compensation, on behalf of a nonprofit entity, are not required to pay a registration fee in connection with those uncompensated lobbying activities.
  
  
• The Annual Fee for lobbying is $100 per representing company.
