Making a Code Complaint
To report a possible violation of the City code:
- Call the Code Enforcement Division at 954-385-050
- Submit a complaint online via email.
- Fill and submit a Complaint Affidavit Form of Code Ordinances
If it is determined that a violation exists, a Code Enforcement Officer will issue a Notice of Violation.
Code Enforcement Officers have the primary duty to enforce the City's codes and ordinances and may initiate proceedings before the Special Magistrate in order to get the violation corrected. In all cases, voluntary compliance is the foremost goal where code violations exist. Notification of Code Violations are issued pursuant to Florida Statutes 162.12.
Ensuring that properties in Weston are properly maintained is not only aesthetically beneficial, but economically advantageous to all property owners and businesses within the City.
