The City Clerk is the official record keeper of the City of Weston.  The City Clerk is appointed by and reports to the City Manager, as provided for in the City Charter Section 3.06.

The Office of the City Clerk provides legal public notice of Commission meetings (and other activities that have statutory notice requirements), maintains the Code of Ordinances, prepares the agendas for Commission meetings, and maintains custody of the City Seal.  At the Commission meetings, the Clerk calls the roll and records the minutes.  As the official record keeper, the Clerk's Office maintains and archives all public records on behalf of the City and processes public records requests. Additionally, the Clerk presides over the City's municipal elections and processes all campaign and mandatory disclosure documents.
