West of Lakeview to Weston Rd. - Design Phase
DESCRIPTION
We’re making exciting upgrades along Saddle Club Road to enhance safety, accessibility, and mobility for everyone—whether you're driving, biking, or walking.
The project includes widening and repaving the roadway to create dedicated bike lanes, helping cyclists travel more safely alongside vehicles. To boost visibility, and driver awareness, bright green markings will be added at conflict points, in areas where drivers and cyclists may cross paths.
We’re also updating road striping and signage of the existing roadway for better navigation, upgrading pedestrian signals, and replacing outdated sidewalk ramps to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards—making it easier for everyone to get around.
These enhancements are part of our ongoing commitment to building a safer, more connected Weston for all.
This is an approved Broward MPO Complete Streets and other Localized Initiatives Program (CSLIP) – Cycle -3 project. This project will be programmed and completed as a Local Agency Program (LAP) project.
