DESCRIPTION

A study is being conducted to determine if a mid-block crosswalk is warranted on Emerald Estates Drive just west of Weston Road. The study will include traffic and pedestrian counts with video observations. If a mid-block crossing is not warranted, the consultant will recommend alternate traffic calming measures as applicable.

Status:   The study is currently underway. Data collection efforts will be collected soon.

Traffic Impacts:   None

Benefits:   Traffic calming measures, if warranted, will provide safety improvements for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists.
