Ditches #3 and #5
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Stormwater waterways rehabilitation of Indian Trace Development District that are critical for the City’s flood control. This rehabilitation project will extend service life of critical stormwater waterways and includes the following:
- Coordination and construction to remove sediment of the City’s waterways within the Indian Trace Development District
- Remove aquatic vegetation
- Rebuild ditch bank slopes
BENEFITS
Construction to remove aquatic vegetation, dredging to clear the City’s flood control waterways of sediments and rebuilding of ditch slopes provide resiliency to mitigate anticipated increase in frequency and intensity of future flood events.
LOCATIONS
- Ditch No. 5 west of Savanna from SR 84 and south to Regional Park
- Ditch No. 3 west of Isles of Weston from Manatee Drive and south to C-11 Canal

Estimated at $1,043,934
