Work hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm 

City will allow 7am - 7pm (if no objection from community)

City can allow work on Saturday – Start at 9am-6pm

Sunday work would require prior approval from the City Manager. 

1. Ditch 5 will started, Wednesday, November 11, 2025, and will be completed by February 26, 2026.
2. Ditch 3 will start, February 27, 2026, and will be completed by April 30, 2026.

• The project scope of work is to excavate and remove sediment and aquatic vegetation to re-establish permitted design profile and the design drainage capacity.
• The excavated sediment will be stockpiled to dry and spread/grade dried sediment materials.
• The scope also includes clearing any vegetation on the ditch side slopes and along the access pathways, which is required to facilitate sediment removal.
• The total length for rehabilitation is approximately 3,900 linear feet for Ditch 3 and 13,730 linear feet for Ditch 5 with a total of 17,630 linear feet.
• The aquatic vegetation and sediment stockpiles, after allowing to dry, are to be hauled offsite for disposal with approval by the City if the material cannot be reused within the project limits.
• The site restoration of all disturbed areas including seeding for sod along the ditch slopes and all areas utilized for spreading the sediments.
