The Weston Community Emergency Response Team is a volunteer resident and business owner group, trained to provide aid to their families, neighbors and community during and after a disaster. 

The fifteen persons currently enrolled in the 2018 Weston 9-week training program, in the last three classes took part in Fire Safety and Suppression training including the use of a fire extinguisher; and Disaster Medical Training which included instruction and hands-on participation in head-to-toe assessment, treating burns, splinting, wrapping wounds and sprains, and the functions of disaster medicine.
