Congratulations to the 16 Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) high schools ranked among the top 26% of schools in the nation in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026/27 showcase on Best High Schools. Topping the list for BCPS and scoring within the top 5% of ranked schools are: Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy, Pompano Beach High School, William T. McFatter Technical High School and Cypress Bay High School.

U.S. News and World Report’s Best High Schools annual rankings include data on nearly 27,000 public high schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, with 18,000 schools ranked on college readiness, breadth of college curriculum, state assessment performance and proficiency, and graduation rates.

"We’re proud to have our schools ranked among the best in the country. This achievement is something our entire community can celebrate," said BCPS Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn. "These rankings reflect the dedication of our students, the passion of our educators and the support of our families.
