Volunteer members of the Environmental Initiatives Action Group within the Rotary Club of Weston distributed 8,500 of the City's Community Wildlife Habitat brochures to all public and private elementary schools in Weston on Earth Day, April 22, 2024. This collaboration between the City and Rotary aligns seamlessly with our shared goals, and their support significantly amplifies our efforts in community engagement, crucial for achieving certification as a Community Wildlife Habitat. We encourage more residents, including YOU, to join us in registering your home, garden, or balcony as part of this initiative.

The City expresses our gratitude to Rotary, specifically recognizing Margarita Lartitegui and Eduardo Briones for spearheading this project. A heartfelt appreciation is extended to all school principals for embracing this initiative and welcoming the initiative into their educational environment. Additionally, numerous schools shared enthusiastic endorsements of the Community Wildlife Habitat program during their morning announcements.  Way to Go!
