As a master planned community, Weston has over 100+ Home Owner Associations and Condominium Boards.  If an average size board has five persons, there are well over 500 condominium/HOA board members in our city.

Associations are responsible for managing the shared amenities and affairs of their respective neighborhoods, with governance vested in a board of directors elected by the property owners. These are positions that involve decision-making on budgets, expenditures, personnel matters, and interactions with community members. It's a challenging responsibility. Fortunately, FIU offers a training program designed to support board members in effectively fulfilling their duties.

Florida International University's Executive Education at the College of Business offers a Condominium Board Member Training Certificate Program, perfect for providing the information necessary for board members to comfortably, efficiently and successfully execute their job.

As a reminder to HOAs and Condominium Boards in Weston, according to City Code, all Homeowners' Associations shall register annually with the City Clerk's Office by the first workday in April.  If you have not updated your registration (no cost) please do so by contacting the Office of the City Clerk by email or calling 954-385-2000.
