Independence Day City Holiday Observance
- All City administrative offices (City Hall, the Community Center, the Public Works Services Center, and the Building Department) will be closed in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
- All City parks will close at 6 p.m., with the exception of Regional Park due to the Fireworks Celebration
- There will be regularly scheduled garbage, recycling and bulk collection.
Traffic Impacts and Park Amenity Closures at Regional Park
To minimize traffic delays and any inconvenience to motorists and cyclists, please note the following temporary road and lane closures:
Friday, July 3, 2026
- 5:30 – 10 p.m., Intermittent traffic delays on Saddle Club Road and South Post Road near entrance to Regional Park
Weston Regional Park
Access to the following amenities at Weston Regional Park will be restricted all day as preparations are made for the Fireworks Celebration event that evening:
- Community Center
- Park shelters will be open (not available to rent)
- Baseball fields 1,2,3, 4 and 8
- Soccer fields 1 and 2
