It is designed to strengthen and enhance the county’s transit system through improved connectivity, expanded access, increased frequency & hours and more.

Better transit is coming to Broward County, and your voice matters in shaping it.
Join the Broward County Commission and Broward County Transit for a countywide series of community meetings on the TransitFORWARD2040 Vision Plan. Residents are encouraged to attend a meeting in their commission district and be part of the conversation about the future of transit in their community.
As Broward County continues to grow, TransitFORWARD builds on today’s system with near-term improvements and a long-term vision through 2040 and beyond, bringing more reliable, accessible, and connected transportation options to neighborhoods across the county.
Each meeting offers a chance to learn about the plan, ask questions, and share feedback directly with County leaders and project staff.
The meeting for District 1 will be held Monday, April 20, 5:30 - 7 PM at the Weston Branch Library, 4205 Bonaventure Blvd., Weston, FL 33331
