Chalk in the Park

Chalk in the Park - Cal-Event (Thumb)Theme: Into the Jungle

Check in begins at 10:15 a.m.

Step Into the Wild! This year, Chalk in the Park invites you to go “Into the Jungle.” Whether you’re sketching tropical wildlife, tangled vines, or your own inner wilderness, this theme is all about exploration.

Display your artistic skills along the winding sidewalks of Library Park. Sidewalk squares will be first-come, first-serve (limited capacity).

Sidewalk chalk will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own too! A live DJ will keep the creative juices flowing with music and giveaways. Prizes will be awarded in several categories.

The event is open to the public to walk through and watch the designs come to life. Enjoy free admission, a fun photo opportunity area, and ice cream pops available for purchase.

Let your chalk be your compass—create something bold, mysterious, or deeply personal. The jungle is more than a place…It’s a journey.
