Let's Go Biking! for Families

Weston, Florida 33326 - Introduction: Enjoy a Leisure Bike Ride (8 miles) through Weston, helmet fittings, kids’ activities, a raffle, and music; all brought to you by the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Let’s Go Biking! effort and hosted by the City of Weston.
The City of Weston and the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) invite you to join an 8-mile leisurely bike ride through the beautiful streets of Weston! This is a free, family-friendly event. Younger children who are not ready to join the group ride (and their parents or guardians) are welcome to stay at the Weston Town Center Park and learn how to ride a bike with the help of our friends at Pedal Yard.
Agenda:
- Check-in/registration starts at 9 a.m.
- The bike ride will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.
- Pedal Yard will be available from 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Music and the raffle will begin at 11 a.m.
Since 2014, the Broward MPO has organized an annual "Let’s Go Biking!" for Families events to promote the use of Broward’s bicycle facilities, bicycle safety, and the health benefits of active transportation. Cyclists of all ages and abilities are encouraged and welcome to participate in the day’s activities. This annual bike ride also features activities such as helmet fittings, bicycle giveaways, music, and more!
