Building Code Services
The City of Weston contracts with C.A.P. Government, Inc. for building and permitting
activities. The purpose of building code services is to assure compliance with the
Florida Building Code, Broward County Edition, which regulates all building construction
activities within the City of Weston. These services include building plan review,
the issuance of building permits, inspections during construction, issuance of Certificates
of Occupancy, issuance of Certificates of Use and building code enforcement.

Every business in Weston must have a Business Tax Receipt to engage in business
within the City.
