The City of Weston employs an Assistant City Manager/Chief Financial Officer and a Treasurer. The city contracts with Municipal Technologies, LLC for finance and administrative support services. Finance services include accounting, managing the City's debt obligations, annual budget preparation, and periodic financial reports. Administrative support services include the staffing of City offices with well educated, highly proficient personnel to fulfill the needs of the City's residents and businesses, and issuance of the City's Local Business Tax Receipt.
Business Tax Receipt Holders FY 2010 In 2006, the City of Weston was issued the highest quality issuer credit rating assigned by Moody's Investors Service (Aaa) and by Standard & Poor (AAA) - which is defined as the strongest creditworthiness relative to other U.S. municipal or tax-exempt issues of issuers.
