On the south side of St. Rd. 84 with discharge pipes under I-75 to the North New River Canal |
| Description: |
Two new pump stations will replace two 30-year old stormwater pump stations that transfer water from the City's closed canal system to the SFWMD's North New River Canal . They provide flood control for the residents and businesses located in the Bonaventure basin area. The pumps will be housed in new buildings to protect the engines, generator and ancillary equipment. The City has received two grants so far to assist in funding this multi-million dollar project. |
